A streaming service run the way we would want one run
No contracts, no automatic renewals, no upsells to a tier that unlocks what should have been included. Here is how we approach it and why.
Apollo Group TV exists because the traditional television model stopped making sense for most households. People were paying rising monthly bills for equipment they did not own, on contracts they could not leave, for hundreds of channels they never watched. Meanwhile the broadband connection sitting in the same house could deliver all of it and more.
We built a service around that gap, and around a few decisions that are easy to state and harder to stick to commercially. Prepaid terms rather than rolling subscriptions. One price with everything included rather than content tiers, with the device count as the only thing you scale, because a household is not one person. And a support team small enough that the same people answer twice.
We are a service provider, not a broadcaster. We do not produce programming and we do not hold rights in third-party content. Customers are responsible for ensuring their use complies with the law where they live, which is set out plainly in our acceptable use policy and disclaimer.
Four principles that shape everything else
Fixed prices, fixed terms
You pay once for a period you chose, and that is the end of the transaction. No stored card, no automatic renewal, no price rise applied halfway through. If we ever change our pricing, it affects new purchases, never a term you have already paid for.
No account, no data pile
There is no registration form on this site and no profile holding your details. The less information a company collects, the less there is to lose. Your access credentials arrive by email and that is the whole relationship.
Honest about limits
Streaming over the public internet is not flawless, and any provider claiming otherwise is selling something. We tell you what bandwidth you need, what quality depends on the source, and where the weak points usually are, because informed customers have fewer bad evenings.
Support that reads the message
The support team asks which device you are on and what the screen actually says, rather than sending a link to the article you already read. Most issues get resolved in a single exchange when the first message carries the right detail.
What we will not claim
We will not promise a perfect picture at all times. Streams travel over the public internet, and during very high-demand moments things occasionally hiccup. We will not claim everything is in 4K, because a great deal of content is simply not produced in 4K. And we will not pretend a poor Wi-Fi signal is something we can fix from our end.
What we will do is keep the delivery network properly balanced, hold the price we quoted you, and answer when you write in. If you want to know what to expect before spending anything, the FAQ is written the same way.
