Worth knowing

What the price does not cover

Being upfront about this saves everyone a difficult conversation later.

  • Not sure how any of this works? The how it works page walks through it from choosing a plan to your first channel, and our five-year cost comparison puts these prices against a typical cable bill.
  • Your internet connection. You need a stable connection of at least 15 Mbps per HD stream. We do not supply broadband, and a poor connection will produce a poor picture no matter which service you use.
  • Hardware. You watch on a device you already own, and our device setup guides cover each one step by step. If you need to buy one, our device comparison covers what is worth the money.
  • 4K on everything. 4K is delivered where the source is genuinely 4K. Plenty of content is produced in HD, and no service can turn HD into 4K.
  • Rights to third-party programming. We supply a streaming service. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with the law where you live. See our acceptable use policy.
Questions

Pricing questions

How much does Apollo Group TV cost?

The only choice is how long a term you want. One month is $24.99, three months is $51.99, six months is $89.99 and twelve months is $159.99 - about $13.33 a month on the yearly plan. Every plan carries the identical content library; only the length of the term changes.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

No. Every plan is a one-time payment for a fixed term. Nothing is stored to charge you again, and nothing renews on its own. When the term is up, the subscription simply stops unless you choose to extend it. This is deliberate: you should never be billed for a service you forgot you had.

Can I upgrade or extend before my plan ends?

Yes. You can extend at any point during an active term and the new time is added on top of what you already have, rather than replacing it. Extending early is usually the cheapest way to move to a longer plan, because the longer terms carry a lower monthly rate.

Is there a refund policy?

Refund terms are set out in full on the refund policy page. In short, if the service will not work on your setup and support cannot resolve it, raise it promptly and the team will work through it with you. Refund requests need to come with enough detail to investigate: the device you tried, what happened and when.

How do I renew my subscription when it ends?

Your plan is prepaid and simply expires at the end of its term - nothing renews or charges automatically. To continue, message us shortly before or after your term ends, tell us which plan you want, and we will set up a new term and send your renewed access. Your login details stay the same, so there is nothing to reinstall or set up again.
